Course Information
At the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the use of a spreadsheet application to manage data and make business decisions
- Create and professionally format worksheets, formulas and functions and use charts and graphs.
- Understand working with Excel Lists and multiple worksheets and workbooks
- Understand Excel’s Editing and Web Tools
- Learn to develop an Excel Application using basic VBA, macros and validation rules for data entry

Grading is based on a point system. Each assignment and test have a specified point value. The total points you accumulate at the end of the course will determine your final grade. There is a total of 400 points for this course.
A = 90% - 100% (360 - 400 points)
B = 80% - 89% (320 - 359 points)
D = 60% - 69% (240 - 279 points)
F = 0% - 59% (0 - 239 points)
