At the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Identify automatic transmission/transaxle components
- Perform general transmission and transaxle diagnosis
- Perform transmission/transaxle maintenance and adjustment
- Perform transmission/transaxle repair
- Perform disassembly and assembly of an automatic transmission/transaxle.
- Perform inspection and service on automatic transmissions, transaxles, and related components
- Principals of manual transmissions
- Clutch diagnoses and repair
- Transaxle diagnosis and repair
