Course Information
At the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Perform the basic math functions that hydraulic systems are based on.
- Design and install basic electrical hydraulic systems.
- Describe, install, and troubleshoot hydraulics hydraulic systems.

- Develop and demonstrate safe work habits and techniques in the use of hydraulic systems.

Attendance
Regular attendance at all scheduled class sessions is expected.
If a student misses more hours of class than the number of semester credit hours to be earned in the course, the student may receive a failing grade for the course.
Students are required to bring a red pen and calculator to class every day. Failure to bring a red pen will result in a 1-point deduction from your quiz grade. A calculator will be used regularly for classwork, quizzes, and labs, so students are expected to have one available at all times.
PPE Requirements
- Safety glasses must be worn at all times during labs.
- Tennis shoes or better are required. No flip-flops, sandals, or soft-toed footwear are allowed.
- Failure to follow PPE requirements will result in the student being asked to leave the lab.
