This course will be concerned with the integration of the histology, gross anatomy and function of the cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive and metabolic, urinary, and reproductive systems of the human organism. Use will be made of the case-study method to achieve the desired understanding and integration of physiologic principles. The laboratory portion of the course will include use of human cadavers to study the anatomy of the systems indicated above. AAS: Life science (laboratory science) elective.

Make-up policy: Late lab reports WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Labs will be due at the beginning of class / lab. You MAY NOT turn in a lab assignment for a lab you did not attend. Lab Midterm and lab Final CANNOT be made up, so don’t miss them! You must show up to your exams at the scheduled time. If you arrive late for an exam, you will have only the time remaining for all of the students that were in class on time. All finals must be taken at the assigned time. If you are aware of a scheduling conflict, you may contact me PRIOR TO THE EXAM to arrange to take an exam early.
**Cell phones: Please turn off all electronic devices prior to the start of class / lab to prevent class disruption. No headphones are to be worn in class. **Pencil (#2) pencil must be used on all exams. None will be provided. **Audio recordings: Students may make audio recordings of lecture and or lab for their own personal use while enrolled in this class.
