The purpose of this course is to assist students in understanding the ethical practice and professional standards needed to work with individuals in mental health settings. This course is designed to teach communication, and professional boundaries and evaluate ethical considerations faced in human services.

The purpose of this course is to assist students in understanding the ethical practice and professional standards needed to work with individuals in mental health settings. This course is designed to teach communication, and professional boundaries and evaluate ethical considerations faced in human services. Some sections of this course are taught in the computer lab; computer literacy skills are recommended. IAI: S6 900. AAS: Social and behavioral science elective. IAI: S6 900 Social and behavioral science.
Prerequisite: PSYC 1813 - Must be completed prior to taking this course.
